Professional Development Workshops

What you will learn

Attend this workshop to learn how to engage students with immediate, hands-on learning using the ANATOMY IN CLAY® Learning System.

In this workshop, experienced teacher trainers will guide you through the process of building anatomy.  The sessions will emphasize the skeletal system and lay the foundation for building other body structures.  We will also explore directional terms and muscle and bone morphology.

In addition to invaluable advice on classroom logistics, you will learn first-hand how to inspire your students by giving them mastery over a complex and rewarding subject.

Who should attend

The Professional Development Workshops are designed for educators in K-12 schools, community colleges, and colleges/universities.

Even educators who have already used the ANATOMY IN CLAY® Learning System will benefit from these workshops. Not only will you have the opportunity to build your own models, you will be able to share your experiences with other educators.  We will also provide information about new models and innovative ways to expand learning using the models you already own.

Format

The Professional Development Workshop is an intense, hands-on experience.  This workshop usually spans two full days, although it can be adapted to shorter timeframes.

Location

The Professional Development Workshop can be delivered as a professional development or in-service opportunity at your location.  Or you may wish to attend a session at our Denver training location.
