Strolling Skeleton Model: Learning System
The strolling skeleton model is shown taking an ambling step. The model's posture is a combination of the Standard Anatomical Position-on it's left side-with the limbs of the right side in motion. In a single model of movement, the comparison is a powerful lesson in the biomechanics of the body that we experience with nearly every step.

In order for this to be shown, the unsupported right side of the body has to adapt by bending the lumbar spine over the supporting leg and, of course, the neck bending back to the right to level the head.
The supporting left leg has a steel pin from below the knee down through the ankle through the heel and down into the leg. This reinforces the strength and increases the life of the model.

An alternative right arm is available that vert nearly echoes the same functional pattern shown in the leg. It comes with a standoff.
